  • Identifying Stressors In Your Dog’s Life - Pet Dog Enrichment Ideas. Learn how to recognize and reduce stress in three common pet dog situations: social interactions, training exercises, and staying home alone. Participants will make a "green" toy and learn home-alone enrichment ideas.
  • The Toolbox For Remodeling Dog Problems. A review of basic principles of nonviolent behavior modification followed by an explanation of Terry's YES TRAIN strategies for behavior mod. Discussion will include problems raised by audience members.
  • The Bark Stops Here - Behavior Modification For Noisy Dogs. Barking dogs frustrate many people. Learn the six main reasons that barking occurs and the best strategies for eliminating it. Programs presented will consider the individual dog's predisposition, temperament, and environment plus the owner's ability, inclination, and lifestyle.

Terry Ryan is the president of Legacy Canine Behavior & Training, Inc. Through Legacy, Terry writes books, presents national and international seminars and workshops, instructs pet dog classes, hosts interns and consults.

Terry has been a community dog training class instructor since 1968, specializing in pet dog classes using motivational exercises presented as games. She was the Coordinator of the People-Pet Partnership, College of Veterinary Medicine, Washington State University from 1981 until 1994.
